Yoga mentoring is for people who already teach yoga or are currently enrolled in a yoga teacher training program, preferably someone is in a 200+ hour training program or someone who has already completed a 200+ hour training program.
Reasons mentoring can be quite useful is: you haven't quite found your yoga niche, you are a new teacher, you have found yourself lacking in confidence when you teach, you get very nervous when you teach, or you want to sharpen tools such as verbal cuing or assisting.
Yoga mentoring with Julie often includes one-on-one meetings (either weekly, bi-weekly or monthly), goal setting, skill assessment and development, guidance, encouragement, creative brainstorming, discussing class sequences, practice and teaching feedback and support along the yogic path.
Continuing education credits can be given through Yoga Alliance for contact and non-contact (reading, projects and/or homework) hours. Contact hours can be in person, over the phone or via video chat.
